Anti-If-Campaign

Die Anti If Campaign betont die Nachteile von If-lastigem Code in Objektorientierten Anwendungen (OO).

Ich unterstreiche diese Kritik generell, da die dort beschriebenen If-Abfragen zwar schnell geschrieben sind, aber letztendlich gegen das Prinzip der Objektorientierung verstoßen und den Code auf lange Sicht schlechter wartbar und anfälliger für Fehler machen.

Dennoch muss natürlich auch gesagt werden, nicht jedes If-Konstrukt ist schlecht und man muss immer das Ziel der Entwicklung vor Augen haben, ergo Kosten und Nutzen der Programmierweise abschätzen!

Fazit: Grundsätzlich gute Kampagne, wie bei allem im Leben gilt allerdings, es gibt kein Allheilmittel!
